6 Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
7 Cast all your anxious care on him, because he cares for you.
5 «Let your behavior be without the love of money, being contented with the things you have; for himself has said,» 'I will never leave you, not will I at all utterly forsake you.'
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall pitch his tent among them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be among them-their God.
4 And he shall away wipe every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, nor grief, nor crying; nor shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 For as the sufferings for Christ abound in us, also, our consolation abounds through Christ.
28 Come to me, all you who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and be taught by me; for I am meek and condescending: and your souls shall find relief.
17 For, if any one be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!
28 Come to me, all you who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
13 Now, may the God of hope fill you with all joy, and peace, in believing; in order that you may abound in that hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
27 Peace I leave you; my peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Be not disheartened; be not intimidated.
19 Wherefore, then, let those who suffer by the will of God, commit their own lives to him in well doing, as a faithful Creator.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies, and the God of all consolation!
4 who comforts us in all out affliction, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any affliction, by the consolation with which they are comforted of God.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies, and the God of all consolation!
4 who comforts us in all out affliction, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any affliction, by the consolation with which they are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings for Christ abound in us, also, our consolation abounds through Christ.
6 Now, whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort, and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effected by enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer.
7 And out hope of you is steadfast, knowing that, as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the comfort.
6 Be anxious about nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God;
16 and I will entreat the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to continue with you forever;
17 even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world can not receive, because it neither sees him, nor knows him; but you shall know him, because he will abide with you, and be in you.
18 I will not leave you forlorn; I will return to you.
29 Jesus answering, said, Indeed, I say to you, there is none who shall have forsaken his house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, for my sake and the gospel's;
30 who shall not receive now, in this world, a hundred fold; houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the future state, eternal life.
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage! I have overcome the world.
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds, through Christ Jesus.
4 Happy they who mourn; for they shall receive consolation!
5 And he that sat upon the throne, said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said, Write, for these are true and faithful words.
22 So, you, at present, are in grief; but I will visit you again, and your hearts shall be joyful, and none shall rob you of your joy.
2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind; that you may approve the will of God, which is good, and acceptable, and perfect.
