28 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be put to shame by him, at his coming.
23 And may the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your whole person, the spirit, and the soul, and the body, be preserved unblameable, till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
23 If any man shall say to you then, Lo! the Messiah is here, or he is there, believe it not:
24 for false Messiahs and false prophets will arise, who will perform great wonders and prodigies, so as to seduce, if possible, the elect themselves.
25 Remember, I have warned you.
27 Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great glory and power.
1 Let not your heart be troubled; believe on God, and believe on me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions. Were it otherwise, I would have told you.
3 I go to prepare a place for you: and after I shall have gone, and prepared a place for you; I will return and take you with me, that where I am, there you may be also.
11 And there shall be great earthquakes in sundry places, and famines, and pestilences; there shall be also frightful appearances, and great prodigies in the sky.
30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed till the day of redemption.
11 I come quickly: keep that which you have, that no man take your crown.
11 For the favor of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men;
12 teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world-
13 expecting the blessed hope; namely, the appearing of the glory of the great God, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
44 Be you, therefore, always prepared; because the Son of Man will come at an hour, when you are not expecting him.
14 And this gospel of the Reign shall be published through all the world, for the information of all nations. And then shall come the end.
8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
16 for the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the Arch Angel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first;
17 afterward we, the living, who remain, shall, at the same time with them, be instantly taken up in clouds, to join the Lord in the air; and so we shall be for ever with the Lord.
18 Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.
7 Now the end of all things has approached; be, therefore, sober, and watch to prayer.
12 Then the brother will deliver up the brother to death; and the father the child; and children will arise against their parents, and procure their death.
13 And on my account you shall be universally hated; but the man who perseveres to the end, shall be saved.
3 As he sat upon the Mount of Olives his disciples addressed him privately, saying, Tell us, when will this happen; and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the conclusion of this state?
4 Jesus answering, said to them, Take heed that no man seduce you:
5 for many will assume my character, saying, I am the Messiah, and will seduce many.
6 Nay, you shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars; but take care that you be not alarmed: for all these things must happen; but the end is not yet.
29 Immediately after those days of affliction, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall withhold her light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the heavenly powers shall be shaken.
30 Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and all the tribes of the land shall mourn, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with great majesty and power.
31 And he will send his messengers with a loud sounding trumpet, who shall assemble his elect from the four quarters of the earth, from one extremity of the world to the other.
11 who also said, Galileans, why do you stand gazing up to heaven? This Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall also come in the same manner as you have seen him going to heaven.
9 But take heed to yourselves; for they will deliver you to councils; and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and brought before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony to them.
10 The good tidings, however, must first be published among all nations.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth, the anguish of desponding nations; and roarings in the seas, and floods;
26 men expiring with the fear and apprehension of those things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great glory and power.
28 Now when these things begin to be fulfilled, look up, and lift up your heads; because your deliverance approaches.
42 Watch, therefore, since you know not at what hour your master will come.
42 Watch, therefore, since you know not at what hour your master will come.
12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me: I will recompense to every man according as his works shall be.
6 having this very confidence, that he who has begun a good work among you, will continue to perfect it till the day of Jesus Christ.
12 And because vice will abound, the love of the greater number will cool.
13 But the man who perseveres to the end shall be saved.
28 even so Christ, being once offered, to bear away the sins of many, will, to them who look for him, appear a second time, without a sin-offering, in order to salvation.
32 Learn now a similitude from the fig tree. When its branches become tender and put forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh.
33 In like manner, when you shall see all these things, know that he is near, even at the door.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in sundry places, and there will be famines and commotions. These are the prelude of woes.
8 But this one thing, let it not escape you, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 For they will deliver you to torments and to death, and you shall be hated by all nations on my account.
10 Then many will be ensnared, and will betray their fellows, and hate them.
11 And many false prophets will arise, who will seduce many.
21 because there shall be then so great tribulation, as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor shall be ever after.
22 For, if the time were protracted, no soul could survive; but for the sake of the elect, the time will be short.
20 He who testifies these things, says, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
34 Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, lest your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and worldly cares, and that day come upon you unawares: for, as a net,
35 it shall inclose all the inhabitants of the earth.
36 Be vigilant, therefore, praying on every occasion, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these approaching evils, and to stand before the Son of Man.
24 And let us attentively consider one another, to excite to love and good works;
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
15 Beware of false teachers, who come to you in the garb of sheep, while inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
27 For the Son of Man, vested with his Father's glory, shall come hereafter with his heavenly messengers, and recompense every one according to his actions.
26 Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 Then he will send his messengers, and assemble his elect from the four quarters of the world, from the extremities of heaven and earth.
23 If any man shall say to you then, Lo! the Messiah is here, or he is there, believe it not:
24 for false Messiahs and false prophets will arise, who will perform great wonders and prodigies, so as to seduce, if possible, the elect themselves.
25 Remember, I have warned you.
26 Wherefore, if they say, He is in the desert, go not out. He is in the closet, believe it not.
20 He who testifies these things, says, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
10 And while they were steadfastly looking up to heaven, as he ascended, behold two men in white raiment stood near them;
11 who also said, Galileans, why do you stand gazing up to heaven? This Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall also come in the same manner as you have seen him going to heaven.
7 so that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the full manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ;
8 who will confirm you till the end, without accusation in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
