Temor de Deus

28 Wherefore, we having received a kingdom not shaken, let us have gratitude, by which we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and religious fear.

29 For truly our God is a consuming fire.

4 Who should not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou alone art perfect. Surely all nations shall come and worship before thee, because thy righteous judgments are made manifest.

28 And fear not them you kill the body, but can not kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

1 Wherefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all pollution of flesh and spirit; perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
