1 Und ich, liebe Brüder, konnte nicht mit euch reden als mit Geistlichen, sondern als mit Fleischlichen, wie mit jungen Kindern in Christo.

2 Milch habe ich euch zu trinken gegeben und nicht Speise; denn ihr konntet noch nicht; auch könnt ihr noch jetzt nicht,

3 dieweil ihr noch fleischlich seid. Denn sintemal Eifer und Zank und Zwietracht unter euch sind, seid ihr denn nicht fleischlich und wandelt nach menschlicher Weise?

4 Denn so einer sagt: Ich bin paulisch, der andere aber: Ich bin apollisch, seid ihr denn nicht fleischlich?

5 Wer ist nun Paulus? Wer ist Apollo? Diener sind sie, durch welche ihr seid gläubig worden, und dasselbige, wie der HErr einem jeglichen gegeben hat.

6 Ich habe gepflanzet, Apollo hat begossen, aber GOtt hat das Gedeihen gegeben.

7 So ist nun weder der da pflanzet, noch der da begießt, etwas, sondern GOtt, der das Gedeihen gibt.

8 Der aber pflanzet und der da begießt, ist einer wie der andere. Ein jeglicher aber wird seinen Lohn empfangen nach seiner Arbeit.

9 Denn wir sind Gottes Mitarbeiter; ihr seid Gottes Ackerwerk und Gottes Gebäu.

10 Ich von Gottes Gnaden, die mir gegeben ist, habe den Grund gelegt als ein weiser Baumeister; ein anderer bauet darauf. Ein jeglicher aber sehe zu, wie er darauf baue.

11 Einen andern Grund kann zwar niemand legen außer dem, der gelegt ist, welcher ist JEsus Christus.

12 So aber jemand auf diesen Grund bauet Gold, Silber, Edelsteine, Holz, Heu, Stoppeln,

13 so wird eines jeglichen Werk offenbar werden; der Tag wird‘s klar machen. Denn es wird durchs Feuer offenbar werden, und welcherlei eines jeglichen Werk sei, wird das Feuer bewähren.

14 Wird jemandes Werk bleiben, das er darauf gebauet hat, so wird er Lohn empfangen.

15 Wird aber jemandes Werk verbrennen, so wird er des Schaden leiden; er selbst aber wird selig werden, so doch wie durchs Feuer.

16 Wisset ihr nicht, daß ihr Gottes Tempel seid, und der Geist Gottes in euch wohnet?

17 So jemand den Tempel Gottes verderbet, den wird GOtt verderben; denn der Tempel Gottes ist heilig; der seid ihr.

18 Niemand betrüge sich selbst! Welcher sich unter euch dünkt, weise zu sein, der werde ein Narr in dieser Welt, daß er möge weise sein.

19 Denn dieser Welt Weisheit ist Torheit bei GOtt. Denn es stehet geschrieben: Die Weisen erhaschet er in ihrer Klugheit.

20 Und abermal: Der HErr weiß der Weisen Gedanken, daß sie eitel sind.

21 Darum rühme sich niemand eines Menschen! Es ist alles euer,

22 es sei Paulus oder Apollo, es sei Kephas oder die Welt, es sei das Leben oder der Tod, es sei das Gegenwärtige oder das Zukünftige: alles ist euer.

23 Ihr aber seid Christi; Christus aber ist Gottes.

5 Tena ko wai a Aporo? a ko wai a Paora? He minita i whakapono ai koutou; ki ia tangata i ta te Ariki i homai ai.

6 Naku i whakato, na Aporo i whakamakuku; na te Atua ia i mea kia tupu.

7 Heoi he kore noa iho te kaiwhakato, he kore noa iho te kaiwhakamakuku, engari te Atua nana nei i mea kia tupu.

8 Na ko te kaiwhakato, ko te kaiwhakamakuku, kotahi tonu raua: otira ka rite ki tana ake mahi te utu e riro mai i tena, i tena o raua.

9 He hoa mahi hoki matou no te Atua: he mara koutou na te Atua, he whare hanga na te Atua.

10 Kei te ritenga o te aroha noa o te Atua i homai nei ki ahau, kua whakatakotoria e ahau te tunga, he pera me ta te tohunga; a ko tetahi atu kei te hanga whare ki runga. Otira kia tupato ia tangata ki tana whare e hanga ai ki runga.

11 E kore hoki tetahi tangata e ahei te whakatakoto i tetahi tunga ke atu i tera kua oti nei te whakatakoto, ara i a Ihu Karaiti.

12 Engari ki te hanga tetahi ki runga ki te tunga he koura, he hiriwa, he kohatu utu nui, he rakau, he tarutaru, he otaota;

13 Ka whakakitea te mahi a tetahi, a tetahi: ma te ra hoki e whakaatu, no te mea ka whakakitea e te kapura; a ma te kapura tonu e whakamatautau te mahi a tena, a tena, he pehea tona ahua.

14 Ki te mau tonu te mahi a tetahi e hanga ai ki runga, ka riro i a ia he utu.

15 Ki te wera te mahi a tetahi, ka maumauria tana: ko ia ia ka ora; otira me te mea ma roto i te ahi.

16 Kahore oti koutou i matau, he whare tapu koutou no te Atua, a kei roto i a koutou te Wairua o te Atua e noho ana?

17 Ki te whakangaromia e tetahi te whare tapu o te Atua, ka whakangaromia hoki ia e te Atua; he tapu hoki te whare o te Atua, a ko koutou taua whare.

18 Kei hangarau tetahi ki a ia ano. Ki te mea tetahi he tangata mohio ia i roto i a koutou i tenei ao, tukua ia hei kuware kia tupu ai hei tangata whakaaro.

19 Ki te Atua hoki he kuware noa nga whakaaro mohio o tenei ao: kua oti hoki te tuhituhi, Ka mau i a ia te hunga whakaaro i runga i to ratou tinihanga:

20 Me tenei hoki, E matau ana te Ariki ki nga whakaaro o te hunga whakaaro, he tekateka noa.

21 No reira kei whakamanamana tetahi ki te tangata: no koutou hoki nga mea katoa:

22 Ahakoa a Paora, a Aporo, a Kipa, te ao, te ora, te mate ranei, nga mea onaianei, nga mea ranei e takoto mai nei, no koutou katoa;

23 A ko koutou no te Karaiti, ko te Karaiti no te Atua.
