42 Sie hielten aber beharrlich fest an der Lehre der Apostel und an der (brüderlichen) Gemeinschaft, am Brechen des Brotes und an den (gemeinsamen) Gebeten.

43 Und über jedermann (im Volk) kam Furcht, und viele Wunder und Zeichen geschahen durch die Apostel.

44 Alle Gläubiggewordenen aber waren beisammen (oder: hielten fest zusammen) und hatten alles gemeinsam;

45 sie verkauften ihre Besitztümer und ihre Habe und verteilten (den Erlös) unter alle nach Maßgabe der Bedürftigkeit eines jeden;

46 und indem sie am täglichen Besuch des Tempels mit Einmütigkeit festhielten und das Brot in den einzelnen Häusern brachen, genossen sie ihre (tägliche) Nahrung mit Frohlocken und in Herzenseinfalt,

47 priesen Gott und standen mit dem ganzen Volk in gutem Einvernehmen. Der Herr aber fügte täglich solche, die gerettet wurden (oder: gerettet werden sollten), zu festem Anschluß hinzu.

42 Were and constantly attending to the teachings of the apostles, and to the distribution, and to the breaking of the loaf, and to the prayers.

43 Came and to every soul fear, many and prodigies and signs through the apostles were done.

44 All and those believing were in the same, and had all things common,

45 and the possessions and the goods they were selling; and they were dividing them to all, as any one need had.

46 Every day and constantly attending with one mind in the temple, breaking and at home bread, they were partaking of food in gladness and singleness of heart,

47 praising the God, and having favor with whole the people. The and Lord was adding those being saved everyday to the congregation.
