14 Nach diesen Worten wandte sie sich um und sah Jesus dastehen, wußte aber nicht, daß es Jesus war.

15 Da sagte Jesus zu ihr: »Frau, warum weinst du? Wen suchst du?« Sie hielt ihn für den Hüter des Gartens und sagte zu ihm: »Herr, wenn du ihn weggetragen hast, so sage mir doch, wohin du ihn gebracht hast; dann will ich ihn wieder holen.«

16 Jesus sagte zu ihr: »Maria!« Da wandte sie sich um und sagte auf hebräisch ( aramäisch) zu ihm: »Rabbuni!«, das heißt »Meister (oder: Lehrer)«.
