Johannes 6

5 Als nun Jesus die Augen aufhob und sah, daß eine große Volksmenge zu ihm kommt, spricht er zu Philippus: Woher sollen wir Brote kaufen, auf daß diese essen? 6 Dies sagte er aber, ihn zu versuchen; *W. ihn versuchend denn er selbst wußte, was er tun wollte. 7 Philippus antwortete ihm: Für zweihundert Denare Brote reichen nicht für sie hin, auf daß ein jeder etwas weniges bekomme.

5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
