3 In the day when I cried You answered me [and] made me bold [with] strength in my soul.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ,
11 For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says the LORD; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
6 in which you greatly rejoice, yet a little [while], if need be, grieving in manifold temptations;
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
11 For I long to see you, so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to you for the establishing of you.
12 And this is to be comforted together with you by our mutual faith, both yours and mine.
11 Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, even as you also do.
16 For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward [man] is being renewed day by day.
7 then, my brothers, we were comforted over you, through your faith, even in all our affliction and needs;
16 And the people answered and said, Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods.
17 For the LORD our God [is] He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. And He did those great wonders in our sight, and kept us in all our way in which we went and among all the people through whom we passed.
39 But the salvation of the righteous [is] from the LORD; [He is] their strength in the time of trouble.
