4 Blessed [is] the [one] whom You choose, and cause to come near You. He shall dwell [in] Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.
16 And Jacob awakened from his sleep. And he said, Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know.
17 And he was afraid, and said, How fearful [is] this place! This [is] nothing but the house of God, and this [is] the gate of Heaven!
4 One [thing] I have desired from the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to pray in His temple.
44 The tabernacle of witness was among our fathers in the wilderness, as commanded [by God], speaking to Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen.
45 Which also having received it by inheritance with Joshua, our fathers, with Joshua, in taking possession of the nations whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David,
46 who found favor with God and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob;
47 but Solomon built Him a house.
48 But, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,
49 Heaven [is] My throne and earth [is] My footstool. What house will you build Me, says [the] Lord, or what [is] the place of My rest?
50 Has not My hand made all these things?
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves.
13 And He said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves.
1 So says the LORD, Heaven [is] My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, [is] the house that you build for Me? And where [is] the place of My rest?
2 For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says the LORD. But to this one I will look, to the afflicted and contrite spirit, and the one who trembles at My word.
8 But I [am] like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
13 And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting.
15 And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, also the sheep and the oxen. And He poured out the money-changers' money and overthrew the tables.
16 And He said to those who sold doves, Take these things away from here. Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise.
17 And His disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of Your house has eaten Me up.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own,
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
6 But Christ [was faithful] as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
1 A Song of degrees; of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
9 For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen on Me.
10 For a day in Your courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
15 But if I should delay, that you may know how you ought to behave in the house of God, which is [the] church of the living God, [the] pillar and foundation of the truth.
