28 So men ought to love their wives as their [own] bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his [own] flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord loves the church.
30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.
7 And the LORD God formed man [of the] dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
10 Therefore remove vexation from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for childhood and prime of life [are] vanity.
4 each one of you to know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor
5 (not in the passion of lust, even as the nations who do not know God),
5 As you do not know what [is] the way of the spirit, as how the bones [grow] in the pregnant woman's womb; even so you do not know the works of God who makes all.
12 And further, by these, my son, be warned: The making of many books has no end, and much study [is] a weariness of the flesh.
2 But, because of the fornications, let each have his [own] wife, and let each have her own husband.
3 Let the husband give to the wife proper kindness, and likewise the wife also to the husband.
4 The wife does not have authority over [her] own body, but the husband. And likewise also the husband does not have authority [over his] own body, but the wife.
26 My flesh and my heart fail; [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my part forever.
1 You [are] the sons of the LORD your God. You shall not cut yourselves nor make [any] baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2 For you [are] a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a peculiar people to Himself, above all the nations that are on the earth.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife; and they were not ashamed.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own,
20 for you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against [his] own body.
13 Meats for the belly and the belly for meats, but God shall destroy both it and them. But the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.
25 Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh underneath.
22 And the LORD God made the rib (which He had taken from the man) into a woman. And He brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. [She] shall be called Woman because [she] was taken out of man.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If all the body [were] an eye, where [would be] the hearing? If all hearing, where [would be] the smelling?
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body as it has pleased Him.
19 And if they were all one member, where [would be] the body?
20 But now indeed many [are] the members, yet only one body.
14 I will praise You; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; Your works [are] marvelous and my soul knows [it] very well.
29 And if your right eye offends you, pluck it out and throw [it] from you. For it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not [that] your whole body should be thrown into hell.
30 And if your right hand offends you, cut it off and throw [it] from you. For it is profitable for you [that] one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be thrown into hell.
