12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
7 The just walks in his integrity; his sons [are] blessed after him.
5 A fool despises his father's instruction, but he who listens to correction is wise.
25 A foolish son [is] a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him.
7 Whoever keeps the law [is] a wise son, but a companion of gluttons shames his father.
21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols. Amen.
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from [the] sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes.
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him;
6 for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and He scourges every son whom He receives.
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?
8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
10 Take heed [that] you do not despise one of these little [ones]. For I say to you that in Heaven their angels always behold the face of My Father in Heaven.
1 My son, forget not My law; but let your heart keep My commandments;
2 for they shall add length of days, and long life, and peace, to you.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
13 And all your sons [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of your sons.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your household.
32 And now listen to Me, O sons; for blessed [are those who] keep My ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and do not refuse it.
15 Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
4 ruling his own house well, having children in subjection with all honor.
20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
1 A wise son [heeds] his father's instruction, but a scorner does not hear rebuke.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
13 And all your sons [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of your sons.
12 so that our sons [may be] like plants grown up in their youth; and our daughters [may be] like corner-stones, polished like a palace building;
15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.
1 Better [is] the poor who walks in his integrity than he who [is] perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
15 Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of [My] hands; your walls [are] forever before Me.
28 Be careful to hear all these words which I command you, so that it may go well with you and with your sons after you forever, when you do the good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
46 And he said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your sons to observe and to do, all the words of this law.
47 For it [is] not a vain thing for you, because it is your life. And by this word you shall prolong [your] days in the land where you go over Jordan, there to possess it.
22 Listen to your father who sired you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
23 Buy the truth, and sell [it] not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father!
20 A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man despises his mother.
12 for whom the LORD loves He corrects, even as a father [corrects] the son [in whom] he delights.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
22 But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
52 And Jesus increased [in] wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
11 Even a child is known by his own doings, whether his work [is] pure and whether [it is] right.
2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
26 He who assaults his father [and] chases away his mother [is] a son who causes shame and brings reproach.
6 Sons of sons [are] the crown of old men, and the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
15 Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.
9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers! For they shall be called the sons of God.
11 Now chastening for the present does not seem to be joyous, but grievous. Nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised by it.
7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
12 I write to you, little children, because [your] sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.
1 And the child Samuel served the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days. [There was] no open vision.
13 Do not withhold correction from a boy, for [if] you beat him with the rod, he will not die.
11 Come, listen to me, [my] sons; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they be discouraged.
6 Sons of sons [are] the crown of old men, and the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
14 And I looked and rose up, and said to the nobles and to the rulers and to the rest of the people, Do not be afraid of them. Remember the LORD, [who is] great and terrible, and fight for your brothers, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
1 My son, forget not My law; but let your heart keep My commandments;
3 and said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
4 Therefore whoever shall humble himself like this little child, this one is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven.
5 And whoever shall receive one such little child in My name receives Me.
14 For as many as are led by [the] Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
4 He also taught me, and said to me, Let your heart hold fast my words, keep my commandments and live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding; forget not; nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
15 Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs.
4 I have no greater joy than these things, to hear that my children walk in the truth.
9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
4 I have no greater joy than these things, to hear that my children walk in the truth.
1 Therefore be followers of God, as dear children.
36 And He took a child, and embraced it, and set him in their midst. And He said to them,
37 Whoever receives one of such children on My name receives Me. And whoever receives Me does not [only] receives Me, but Him who sent Me.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
1 At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child to Him and set him in their midst,
3 and said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
4 Therefore whoever shall humble himself like this little child, this one is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven.
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother;
9 for they [shall be] an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.
13 And they brought children to Him, so that He should touch them. And [His] disciples rebuked those bringing [them].
14 But when Jesus saw, He was much displeased and said to them, Allow the little children to come to Me and do not hinder [them]. For of such is the kingdom of God.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.
19 The living, the living, he shall praise You, as I [do] this day; the father shall make Your truth known to the sons.
40 Therefore, you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you this day, so that it may go well with you and with your sons after you, and so that you may make your days longer upon the earth which the LORD your God gives you forever.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope on him purifies himself, even as that [One] is pure.
6 And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.
7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.
8 But if anyone does not provide for [his] own, and especially [his] family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
