12 All things are lawful to me, but not all things profit. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
26 He covets greedily all the day long; but the righteous gives and spares not.
13 For, brothers, you were called to liberty. Only do not [use] the liberty for [an] opening to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
1 Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
5 Will your eyes fly on it? And [it] is gone! For surely it makes wings for itself; it flies [into] the heavens like an eagle.
17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
41 Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.
1 I made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look upon a virgin?
16 I say, then, Walk in [the] Spirit and you shall not fulfill [the] lusts of [the] flesh.
10 For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some having lusted after, they were seduced from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
16 because all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 To the Chief Musician. A contemplation; for the sons of Korah. As the hart pants after the water brooks, so my soul pants after You, O God.
8 Be sensible [and] vigilant, because your adversary [the] Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour;
4 through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of [the] divine nature, having escaped the corruption [that is] in [the] world through lust.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
8 Yea, [in] the way of Your judgments, O LORD, we awaited You; for Your name and for Your memory [is] the desire of [our] soul.
28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
2 You desire, and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and cannot obtain. You fight and war, yet you have not because you ask not.
4 Marriage [is] honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
13 Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one.
13 No temptation has taken you but [what is] common to man; but God [is] faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear [it].
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (which is idolatry),
7 What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? Let it not be said! But I did not know sin except through the law. For also I did not know lust except the law said, You shall not lust.
2 But, because of the fornications, let each have his [own] wife, and let each have her own husband.
