Dia dos Pais
20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against Heaven and before you, and am no more worthy to be called your son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring the best robe and put [it] on him. And put a ring on his hand and shoes on [his] feet.
23 And bring the fattened calf here and kill [it]. And let us eat and be merry,
3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so [are] the sons of the young.
5 Blessed [is] the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.
13 Watch! Stand fast in the faith! Be men! Be strong!
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he who fathers a wise [child] shall have joy from him.
7 The just walks in his integrity; his sons [are] blessed after him.
12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
26 In the fear of the LORD [is] strong hope, and His sons shall have a place of refuge.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
