10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from Your presence, and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me [with] a willing spirit.
41 Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.
3 And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
18 But we all, with [our] face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit.
6 Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This [is] the Word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 The LORD [is] near to the broken-hearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.
19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and [the] supply of [the] Spirit of Jesus Christ,
24 God [is] a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are contrary to one another; lest whatever you may will, these things you do.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
23 meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give [the] Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father!
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the mind; I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the mind.
16 I say, then, Walk in [the] Spirit and you shall not fulfill [the] lusts of [the] flesh.
23 Turn at my warning; behold, I will pour out my Spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.
17 But he being joined to the Lord is one spirit.
2 All the ways of a man [are] clean in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirits.
5 So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19 [It is] better [to be] of an humble spirit with the lowly than to divide the spoil with the proud.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
13 And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of [the] Holy Spirit.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters.
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him.
24 God [is] a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in [the] knowledge of Him,
3 Do not put your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man in whom [there is] no salvation.
4 His breath goes forth; he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own,
20 for you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
27 The spirit of man [is] the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will remove the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh,
20 so that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
14 For as many as are led by [the] Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.
25 If we live in [the] Spirit, let us also walk in [the] Spirit.
6 or ever the silver cord is not loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern;
7 then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.
11 For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
32 He who is slow to anger [is] better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father!
6 For to be carnally minded [is] death, but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace
1 The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah [is] on Me; because the LORD has anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
8 But a spirit [is] in man giving them perception, even the breath of the Almighty.
13 By this we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
10 And if Christ [is] in you, indeed the body [is] dead because of sin, but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
23 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to [the] dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1 Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
11 As to diligence, not slothful, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
