6 And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.
7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
1 A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.
2 For you shall surely eat the labor of your hands; you [shall be] happy, and all [is] well with you.
3 Your wife [shall be] like a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your sons [shall be] like olive plants around your table.
4 Behold! So shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD.
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to be godly to their own house, and give back to [their] forebears what is due them; for that is good and pleasing before God.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
25 I have been young, and am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread.
26 All the day long he deals graciously, and lends; and his seed [is] blessed.
3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so [are] the sons of the young.
5 Blessed [is] the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
7 The just walks in his integrity; his sons [are] blessed after him.
38 And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
39 And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for their good and for the good of their sons after them.
6 Sons of sons [are] the crown of old men, and the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I consecrated you, [and] I ordained you a prophet to the nations.
28 And may God give you of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.
29 Let people serve you, and let nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed [be] everyone that curses you, and blessed [be] he that blesses you.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it. And have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the heavens, and all animals that move upon the earth.
21 The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour has come. But when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man is born into the world.
52 And Jesus increased [in] wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
14 But when Jesus saw, He was much displeased and said to them, Allow the little children to come to Me and do not hinder [them]. For of such is the kingdom of God.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?
8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.
15 Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
1 Sons, hear the instruction of a father, and listen in order to know understanding.
4 The fruit of your body [shall be] blessed, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring;
4 and they shall spring up [as] among the grass, as willows by the water-courses.
13 And all your sons [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of your sons.
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?
13 As a father pities his children, the LORD pities those who fear Him.
39 And your little ones, who you said would be a prey, and your sons who in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in there. And I will give it to them, and they shall possess it.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they be discouraged.
13 Do not withhold correction from a boy, for [if] you beat him with the rod, he will not die.
12 so that our sons [may be] like plants grown up in their youth; and our daughters [may be] like corner-stones, polished like a palace building;
24 The LORD bless you and keep you.
25 The LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
26 The LORD lift up His face to you and give you peace.
12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.
10 I was cast on You from the womb; You [are] My God from My mother's belly.
14 You shall be blessed above all people. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your cattle.
13 For You have possessed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise You; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; Your works [are] marvelous and my soul knows [it] very well.
15 My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret [and] skillfully formed in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my embryo; and in Your book all [my members] were written, the days they were formed, and not one [was] among them.
1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son [is] the sorrow of his mother.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
2 His seed shall be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
4 We will not hide [them] from their sons, showing to the generations to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.
