5 So says the LORD, Cursed [is] the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD.

1 Man born of woman [is] of few days, and full of trouble.

1 Do not sharply rebuke an elder, but exhort as a father, [and] the younger ones as brothers,

17 What [is] man, that You should magnify him, and that You should set Your heart on him,

15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity (the Law of commandments [contained] in ordinances) so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, making peace [between them] ;

45 And so it is written, The first man, Adam, became a living soul, the last Adam was a life-giving Spirit.

46 But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual.

47 The first man [was] out of earth, earthy; the second Man [was] the Lord from Heaven.

48 Such the earthy [man], such also the earthy ones. And such the heavenly [Man], such also the heavenly ones.

49 And according as we bore the image of the earthy [man], we shall also bear the image of the heavenly [Man].

6 But one testified in a certain place, saying, What is man, that You are mindful of him; or the son of man, that You visit him?

7 For do not let that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord;

8 [he is] a double-minded man, not dependable in all his ways.

24 Man's steps [are] of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth.

27 And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

1 The ordering of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, [is] from the LORD.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God in the middle of the trees of the garden.

11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

21 For the ways of man [are] before the eyes of the LORD, and He watches all his paths.

11 When I was an infant, I spoke as an infant, I thought as an infant, I reasoned as an infant. But when I became a man, I did away with the things of an infant.

22 For you ought to put off the old man (according to your way of living before) who is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

24 And you should put on the new man, who according to God [was] created in righteousness and true holiness.

17 Shall mortal [man] be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?

12 Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned:
