34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, Behold, this One is set for [the] fall and rising again of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against
35 (yea, a sword shall pierce through your own soul also), so that [the] thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
19 But Mary kept all these sayings, meditating in her heart.
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of [the] house of David. And the virgin's name [was] Mary.
28 And the angel came in to her and said, Hail, [one] receiving grace, the Lord [is] with you. Blessed [are] you among women.
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? [Is] not his mother called Mary? And his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas,
56 and his sisters, are they not all with us? Then from where does this [man have] all these things?
46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 For He looked on the humiliation of His slave woman. For, behold, from now on all generations shall count me blessed.
49 For the Mighty One has done great things for me; and holy [is] His name.
50 And His mercy [is] on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
51 He has worked power with His arm, He has scattered the proud in [the] imagination of their heart.
52 He has put down rulers from [their] seats and exalted the lowly,
53 He has filled [the] hungry with good things, and He has sent away [the] rich empty.
54 He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of [His] mercy,
55 as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.
31 Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, [they] sent to Him, calling Him.
32 And the crowd sat about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking for You.
33 And He answered them, saying, Who is My mother, or My brothers?
34 And He looked around on those who sat about Him, and said, Behold My mother and My brothers!
35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is My brother and My sister and My mother.
30 And the angel said to her, Do not fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold! You shall conceive in [your] womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS.
32 He shall be great and shall be called the Son of [the] Highest. And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was this way (for His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph) before they came together, she was found to be with child by [the] Holy Spirit.
48 And seeing Him, they were amazed. And His mother said to Him, Child, why have you done so to us? Behold, your father and I have looked for you, greatly distressed.
49 And He said to them, Why did you look for Me? Do you not know that I must be about My Father's [business] ?
50 And they did not understand the word which He spoke to them.
51 And He went with them and came to Nazareth, and He was subject to them. But His mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
14 these all were continuing with one accord in prayer and supplication, with [the] women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
3 And when they lacked wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus said to her, Woman, what do I have to do with you? My hour has not yet come.
5 His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do [it].
25 And His mother stood by the cross of Jesus, and His mother's sister, Mary the [wife] of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 Then when Jesus saw [His] mother and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, Woman, behold your son!
27 Then He said to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her into [his] own [home].
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee to be taxed (out of [the] city of Nazareth, into Judea, to [the] city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of [the] house and family line of David).
5 And he took Mary his betrothed wife, being with child.
6 And while they were there, the days [for] her deliverance were fulfilled.
7 And she brought forth her son, the First-born, and wrapped Him, and laid Him in a manger-- because there was no room for them in the inn.
