15 And he that strikes his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.
15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.
1 A wise son [heeds] his father's instruction, but a scorner does not hear rebuke.
18 If a man has a son who is stubborn and rebels, who will not obey his father's voice or his mother's voice, even when they have chastened him [he] will not listen to them,
19 then his father and his mother shall lay hold on him and bring him out to the elders of his city, and to the gate of his place.
20 And they shall say to the elders of his city, this son of ours [is] stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey our voice. [He is] a glutton and a drunkard.
21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones so that he dies. So shall you put evil away from you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.
17 The eye [that] mocks at [his] father and despises to obey [his] mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
16 Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that your days may be made longer, and that it may go well with you in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
1 Sons, hear the instruction of a father, and listen in order to know understanding.
2 For I give you good teaching; do not forsake my law.

5 Get wisdom, get understanding; forget not; nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 Do not forsake her, and she shall keep you; love her, and she shall keep you.
4 For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother; and, He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him die by death.
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother;
9 for they [shall be] an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to be godly to their own house, and give back to [their] forebears what is due them; for that is good and pleasing before God.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
20 My son, keep your father's commandments, and do not forsake the law of your mother;
21 bind them upon your heart forever, tie them around your neck.
22 When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and [when] you awake, it shall talk [with] you.
