Pais e Filhos
8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother;
9 for they [shall be] an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
26 He who assaults his father [and] chases away his mother [is] a son who causes shame and brings reproach.
24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he who fathers a wise [child] shall have joy from him.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
22 Listen to your father who sired you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, neither shall the sons be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
6 Sons of sons [are] the crown of old men, and the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
20 Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in deep darkness.
12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.
6 And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.
7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
11 For what father of you, [if] the son asks [for] bread, will he give him a stone? Or if [he asks] for a fish, will he give him a snake for a fish?
12 Or if he shall ask for an egg, will he give him a scorpion?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give [the] Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?
8 But if anyone does not provide for [his] own, and especially [his] family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they be discouraged.
3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so [are] the sons of the young.
5 Blessed [is] the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh.
20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to be godly to their own house, and give back to [their] forebears what is due them; for that is good and pleasing before God.
1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son [is] the sorrow of his mother.
