11 Dearly beloved, I exhort [you] as [temporary] residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
4 each one of you to know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor
5 (not in the passion of lust, even as the nations who do not know God),
31 Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (which is idolatry),
24 But those belonging to Christ have crucified the flesh with [its] passions and lusts.
26 For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature.
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.
3 For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear.
4 And they will turn away [their] ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.
3 You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend [it] upon your lusts.
