51 Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man keeps My Word, he shall never see death.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; and Your right hand has held me up, and Your gentleness has made me great.
36 You have given a wide place for my steps under me, so that my feet have not slipped.
89 LAMED. Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in the heavens.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely.
3 who being the shining splendor of [His] glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, through Himself cleansing of our sins, [He] sat down on [the] right of the Majesty on high,
22 But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
22 But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
130 The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
16 All Scripture [is] God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.
16 All Scripture [is] God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
17 Sanctify them through Your truth. Your Word is truth.
2 For [in] many [things] we all offend. If anyone does not offend in word, the same [is] a full-grown man, able also to bridle the whole body.
3 And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger, and then He fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your fathers know [it], so that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every [word] that comes out of the mouth of the LORD man shall live.
3 And God said, Let there be light. And there was light.
18 But the things which come out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies;
11 I have hidden Your word in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.
16 All Scripture [is] God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.
3 Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken to you.
28 But He said, No; rather, blessed [are] they who hear the Word of God and keep it.
12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to [the] dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to [the] dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
22 But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of [the] Word and not a doer, he is like a man studying his natural face in a mirror.
24 For he studied himself and went his way, and immediately [he] forgot what he was like.
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he shall be satisfied with the product of his lips.
21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it.
14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of [the] Father, full of grace and of truth.
14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of [the] Father, full of grace and of truth.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
22 Therefore when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
4 But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of [the] mouth of God.
4 But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of [the] mouth of God.
24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
38 He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
1 If [there is] therefore any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any tendernesses and mercies,
2 then fulfill my joy, that you may be like-minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord and of one mind.
3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
4 Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also [on] the things of others.
5 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be equal with God,
7 but made Himself of no reputation, and took [upon Himself] the form of a servant, and was made in [the] likeness of men.
8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself [and] became obedient unto death, even [the] death of the cross.
9 Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name [which is] above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of ones under [the] earth;
11 and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to [the] glory of God [the] Father.
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of [His] good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings,
15 so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world,
16 holding forth the word of life, so that I may rejoice with you in [the] day of Christ, that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.
17 Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy and rejoice with you all.
18 And you also rejoice [in] the same, and rejoice with me.
19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, so that I also may be of good comfort when I know [your state].
20 For I have no one who is like-minded, who will naturally care for [your state].
21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Jesus Christ.
22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.
23 Therefore I hope to send him presently, as soon as I shall see the things about me.
24 But I trust in [the] Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.
25 Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and he who ministered to my wants.
26 For he longed after you all and was full of heaviness, because you had heard that he had been sick.
27 For indeed he was sick, coming near death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 Therefore I sent him the more eagerly, so that you may rejoice when you see him again, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
29 Therefore receive him in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such in honor,
30 because for the work of Christ he was near death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
18 There are those who speak like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise heals.
41 And many more believed because of His own word.
9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
36 And they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word [is] this! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.
31 Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed on Him, If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
21 Therefore putting aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, receive in meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.
30 [As for] God, His way [is] perfect; the Word of the LORD [is] tried; He [is] a shield to all those who trust in Him.
2 desire the sincere milk of the word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it;
11 The mouth of a righteous one [is] a well of life; but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom; out of His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom; out of His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding.
29 [Is] not My Word like a fire? says the LORD; and like a hammer [that] breaks the rock in pieces?
16 Your words were found, and I ate them; and Your Word was to me the joy and gladness of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Jehovah, God of hosts.
4 In God I will praise His word; in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.
31 Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed on Him, If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from [the] dead, you shall be saved.
10 For with [the] heart [one] believes unto righteousness, and with [the] mouth [one] confesses unto salvation.
25 Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop, but a good word makes it glad.
3 By faith we understand that] the ages were] framed by a word of God, so that the things being seen not to have come into being out of the things that appear.
4 For the Word of the LORD [is] right; and all His works [are] in truth.
4 For the Word of the LORD [is] right; and all His works [are] in truth.
12 Who [is] the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.
105 NUN. Your word [is] a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
105 NUN. Your word [is] a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
35 The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
5 Every word of God [is] pure; He [is] a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
6 By the Word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
36 But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, so that they may obey us, and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships being so great, and driven by fierce winds, yet they are turned about with a very small rudder, where the impulse of him steering desires.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. Behold how little a fire kindles how large a forest!
6 And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity. So the tongue is set among our members, spotting all the body and inflaming the course of nature, and being inflamed by hell.
7 For every kind of animals, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of sea-animals, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind.
8 But no one can tame the tongue, [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
34 Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the Word of our God shall stand forever.
160 Your word [is] true from the beginning; and every one of Your righteous judgments [endures] forever.
