10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this, that if anyone would not work, neither should he eat.
7 Likewise, husbands, live together according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel, the female, as truly [being] co-heirs together of [the] grace of life, not cutting off your prayers.
13 Watch! Stand fast in the faith! Be men! Be strong!
19 Husbands, love [your] wives, and do not be bitter against them.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 For I know him, that he will command his sons and his house after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment, that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of him.
8 But if anyone does not provide for [his] own, and especially [his] family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,

3 not a drunkard, not contentious, not greedy of ill gain, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous,
4 ruling his own house well, having children in subjection with all honor.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
23 And whatever you do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord and not to men;
