Santidade

3 For let fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness not be once named among you, as becomes saints,

14 Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;

15 but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct,

16 because it is written, Be holy, for I am holy.

3 For let fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness not be once named among you, as becomes saints,

9 who has saved us and called [us] with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times.

14 Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as you have spoken.

3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification, for you to abstain from fornication,

4 each one of you to know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor

5 (not in the passion of lust, even as the nations who do not know God),

6 not to go beyond and defraud his brother in this matter (because the Lord [is the] avenger concerning all these, as we also have forewarned you and testified).

7 For God has not called us to uncleanness, but in sanctification.

4 according as He chose us in Him before [the] foundation of [the] world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

22 For you ought to put off the old man (according to your way of living before) who is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

24 And you should put on the new man, who according to God [was] created in righteousness and true holiness.

10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts,

24 and see if [any] wicked way [is] in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.

3 But You [are] holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

5 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

48 Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

25 [It is] a snare [to] a man to say rashly, A holy thing, and afterward vows to ask [about it].

16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?

26 And you shall be holy to Me. For I, the LORD, am holy, and have severed you from the nations, so that you should be Mine.

23 So I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself. And I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

1 Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

17 Sanctify them through Your truth. Your Word is truth.

15 but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct,

16 because it is written, Be holy, for I am holy.

16 And no one lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts [it] under a couch; but he sets [it] on a lampstand so that those who enter in may see the light.

9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.

22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.

1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, [bless] His holy name.

1 Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

26 And you shall be holy to Me. For I, the LORD, am holy, and have severed you from the nations, so that you should be Mine.

7 And you shall sanctify yourselves, and be holy. For I [am] the LORD your God.

17 And I exhort you, brothers, to watch those making divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.

2 to the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called out with all those in every place who call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.

21 And you, who were once alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish, and without charge in His sight,

23 if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [are] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard [and] which was proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister,

4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; praise Him who rides on the heavens by His name JEHOVAH, and rejoice before Him.

5 In His holy dwelling God [is] the father of the fatherless, and the judge of the widows.

14 Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;

19 I speak in the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you have yielded your members [as] slaves to uncleanness, and to lawless act unto lawless act, even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness.

2 [There is] none holy as the LORD, for there is none beside You. Neither [is there] any rock like our God.

23 And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I [am] the LORD, says the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

1 I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, [which is] your reasonable service.

15 For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity; whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

1 If [there is] therefore any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any tendernesses and mercies,

2 then fulfill my joy, that you may be like-minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord and of one mind.

3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.

4 Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also [on] the things of others.

5 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

6 who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be equal with God,

7 but made Himself of no reputation, and took [upon Himself] the form of a servant, and was made in [the] likeness of men.

8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself [and] became obedient unto death, even [the] death of the cross.

9 Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name [which is] above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of ones under [the] earth;

11 and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to [the] glory of God [the] Father.

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of [His] good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

15 so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world,

16 holding forth the word of life, so that I may rejoice with you in [the] day of Christ, that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.

17 Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy and rejoice with you all.

18 And you also rejoice [in] the same, and rejoice with me.

19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, so that I also may be of good comfort when I know [your state].

20 For I have no one who is like-minded, who will naturally care for [your state].

21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Jesus Christ.

22 But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.

23 Therefore I hope to send him presently, as soon as I shall see the things about me.

24 But I trust in [the] Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

25 Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and he who ministered to my wants.

26 For he longed after you all and was full of heaviness, because you had heard that he had been sick.

27 For indeed he was sick, coming near death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28 Therefore I sent him the more eagerly, so that you may rejoice when you see him again, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

29 Therefore receive him in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such in honor,

30 because for the work of Christ he was near death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
