10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of your life [shall be] many.
26 My flesh and my heart fail; [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my part forever.
3 He who keeps his mouth keeps his life; he who opens his lips wide, [it is] ruin to him.
13 Who [is] wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works by [his] good conduct with meekness of wisdom.
8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding shall find good.
10 For he that wants to love life and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile.
11 Let him turn aside from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.
15 And He said to them, Watch and keep yourselves from covetousness. For a man's life is not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
14 Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;
25 Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?
27 Which of you [by] being anxious can add one cubit to his stature?
20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; [yet] no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And [that] life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.
20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; [yet] no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And [that] life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.
27 The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from the snares of death.
12 So teach us to number our days, so that we may bring a heart of wisdom.
6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
4 Make me know Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.
11 and that you try earnestly to be quiet and to do [your] own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
12 so that you may walk becomingly toward those outside, and that you may lack nothing.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
7 The LORD shall keep you from all evil; He shall keep your soul.
8 The LORD shall keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
31 The gray head [is] a crown of glory, [if] it is found in the way of righteousness.
13 For You have possessed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise You; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made; Your works [are] marvelous and my soul knows [it] very well.
15 My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret [and] skillfully formed in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my embryo; and in Your book all [my members] were written, the days they were formed, and not one [was] among them.
36 For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?
38 He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
10 The days of our years [are] threescore years and ten; and if by strength they [are] fourscore years, yet their pride [is] labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life.
35 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes on Me shall never thirst.
4 O LORD, make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it [is]; I know how frail I [am].
5 Behold, You have made my days [as] a handbreadth, and my age [is] as nothing before You. Surely every man standing [is] altogether vanity. Selah.
6 Surely a man walks about like a shadow! Surely they are in an uproar in vain. He heaps up, and does not know who shall gather them.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of him who practices wickedness.
17 He who keeps instruction [is] in the way of life; but he who refuses reproof goes astray.
3 For You [are] my rock and my fortress; and for Your name's sake lead me and guide me.
16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, so that you may live and multiply. And the LORD your God shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it.
1 To every thing [there is] a season, and a time for every purpose under the heavens:
9 For with You [is] the fountain of life; in Your light we shall see light.
33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
7 And the LORD God formed man [of the] dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what [is] that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight;
21 He who follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor.
12 Blessed [is] the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
23 And whatever you do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord and not to men;
24 knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve [the] Lord Christ.
23 For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
4 One [thing] I have desired from the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to pray in His temple.
93 I will never forget Your commandments; for with them You have given me life.
25 Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life! He who believes in Me, though he die, yet he shall live.
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?
10 The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
34 And calling near the crowd with His disciples, He said to them, Whoever will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
35 For whoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel's, he shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange [for] his soul?
38 Therefore whoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man shall also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.
6 Let everything that breathes praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
12 Who [is] the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
19 As in water face [answers] to face, so the heart of man [answers] to man.
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
