12 But to all who receive him, to them he has given the right to become children of God, even to those who trust in his name;
19 All nature even is waiting with eager longing for the unveiling of the vision of Gods sons.
1 At that hour his disciples came to Jesus and asked him, "Who is really greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
2 When he had called a little child to him, Jesus set him among them, and answered.
3 "In solemn truth I tell you that unless you turn and become like little children, you will not even enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 "Whoever therefore will humble himself like this little child, is greatest in the kingdom of heaven;
31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus," they answered, "and you will be saved, you and all your household."
13 Now people were bringing little children to Jesus for him to touch them; but the disciples rebuked them.
14 Jesus was indignant when he saw it, and said. "Let the little children come to me. Do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such.
21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
4 he should be a man who rules his own household well, and keeps his children ever under control and thoroughly well behaved.
25 At that time Jesus answered and said. "I praise thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and wary, and hast revealed them to the children.
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is well pleasing in Christians.
5 and have you forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as sons? My son, do not despise the training of the Lord, Nor faint when he corrects you;
6 For it is those whom he loves that he disciplines, And he scourges every son whom he acknowledges.
7 It is for discipline that you are enduring these sufferings. God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 If you are left without discipline, in which all children share, then are you bastards and not sons.
9 Furthermore, our earthly fathers used to discipline us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
2 We are Gods children now, beloved; what we shall be has never yet been made manifest. But we know that when he is manifested we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
3 And every one who is holding this hope in him is purifying himself, even as he is pure.
16 For his Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God;
10 "See to it that you never despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father in heaven.
22 Flee from the passions of youth, but run after righteousness, faith, love, and peace, in company with those who out of a pure heart call upon the Lord.
52 And Jesus was ever advancing in wisdom and in status and in favor with God and man.
4 And you fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up in the nature and admonition of the Lord.
4 And you fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up in the nature and admonition of the Lord.
14 "Let the little children come to me, and forbid them not; for it is to the childlike that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
14 "Let the little children come to me, and forbid them not; for it is to the childlike that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
26 You are all sons of God through your faith in Jesus Christ.
27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ, have clothed yourselves with Christ.
2 The teachings which you have heard from me, attested by many witnesses, deliver into the keeping of faithful men, who in their turn will be able to teach others also.
11 Now no discipline seems for the present to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it yields the peaceable fruits of righteousness to those who have been trained under it.
4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are passing their lives in the truth.
4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are passing their lives in the truth.
9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
21 Fathers, do not harass your children, lest you make them spiritless.
3 "In solemn truth I tell you that unless you turn and become like little children, you will not even enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 "Whoever therefore will humble himself like this little child, is greatest in the kingdom of heaven;
5 "and whoever receives one such child for my sake, receives me.
15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery in order that you should once more be afraid; but you have received a spirit of adoption, in which we cry out, "My Father, my dear Father!"
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has given us in allowing us to be called "Children of God!" And that is what we are. For this reason the world does not recognize us, because it did not know him.
12 I am writing to you, little children, because you sins are forgiven you for his names sake.
8 But if any one fails to provide for his own, and especially for his kindred, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
14 For only those are sons of God who are led by Gods Spirit.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise attached),
3 that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
1 Learn then to imitate God as his beloved children,
15 When they were through breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others do?" "Yes, Lord, you know that you are dear to me." he answered. Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs."
36 Then Jesus took a little child, set it among them, and folding it in his arms, he said,
37 "Whoever in my name receives one such little child, receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me, but Him who sent me."
