12 But to all who receive him, to them he has given the right to become children of God, even to those who trust in his name;
13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the custom of some, but exhorting one another; all the more as you behold the Day drawing near.
7 It is for discipline that you are enduring these sufferings. God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 If you are left without discipline, in which all children share, then are you bastards and not sons.
9 Furthermore, our earthly fathers used to discipline us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they only disciplined us for a few days, as seemed good to them; but he does it for our profit, that we may share his holiness.
33 "Who are my mother and my brothers?" he replied.
34 Then, with a glance at those who were in the circle sitting around him, he added.
35 "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God, that one is my brother and sister and mother."
26 You are all sons of God through your faith in Jesus Christ.
27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ, have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 In him there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
14 For this cause I bend my knees before the Father,
15 from whom every fatherhood in heaven and earth is named,
15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery in order that you should once more be afraid; but you have received a spirit of adoption, in which we cry out, "My Father, my dear Father!"
16 For his Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God;
17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; but to share his glory, we must now be sharing his sufferings.
4 But when the fulness of time was come God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under law,
5 to redeem from captivity those under law, in order that we might receive our sonship.
6 And because you are sons, God sent forth the spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, "Dear, dear Father!"
7 So each one of you is no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir, too, through Gods grace.
35 "Now the slave does not remain permanently in the household, but the son does remain.
19 Take notice then that no longer are you strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of Gods household.
20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-stone.
21 In him the whole building, fitly framed together, rises into a holy temple in the Lord;
22 and in him you, too, are continuously built together for a dwelling- place of God through his Spirit.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has given us in allowing us to be called "Children of God!" And that is what we are. For this reason the world does not recognize us, because it did not know him.
2 We are Gods children now, beloved; what we shall be has never yet been made manifest. But we know that when he is manifested we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
42 Jesus said to them. "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded forth and am now come from God. I did not come on my own authority, but God himself sent me.
26 When one member suffers, all the others suffer with it; and when one member is honored, all the members are glad with it.
5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and we are severally members of one another.
1 Do not reprimand an aged man, but continue pleading with him as if he were your father. Treat the young men as brothers,
2 the older women as mothers, the younger women as sisters in all purity.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let is do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of faith.
5 For in his love he predestined us (such was the good pleasure of his will) to adoption for himself as sons through Jesus Christ,
6 and to the praise of his glorious grace which he graciously bestowed upon us in the Beloved.
