"Vamos à Casa do Senhor."

2 Pararam os nossos pés

junto às suas portas, ó Jerusalém!

3 Jerusalém,

você que está construída

como uma cidade bem sólida,

4 para onde sobem as tribos,

as tribos do Senhor,

como convém a Israel,

para renderem graças

ao nome do Senhor.

5 Lá estão os tronos de justiça,

os tronos da casa de Davi.

6 Orem pela paz de Jerusalém!

Que sejam prósperos

aqueles que a amam.

7 Reine paz em seu meio

e prosperidade nos seus palácios.

8 Por amor dos meus irmãos

e amigos,

eu peço: "Haja paz em você!"

9 Por amor da Casa do Senhor,

nosso Deus,

buscarei o seu bem.

1 I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2 Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.

3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:

4 Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.

7 Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.

8 For my brothers and companions'sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.

9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.
