31 but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
1 You are the children of the Lord your God: you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;
26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"
7 It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who does not love his brother.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can't be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'sons of the living God.'
1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world does not know us, because it did not know him.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
17 Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,
5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.
