13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
37 He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
17 Iron sharpens iron;so a man sharpens his friend's countenance.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief; and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
15 Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divine nature; that they may be without excuse.
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
5 A fool despises his father's correction,but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom,the man who gets understanding.
24 "Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, will be compared to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.
28 Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise.When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.
8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul.He who keeps understanding shall find good.
12 A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge;but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.
