6 who "will pay back to everyone according to their works:"
7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;
8 but to those who are self-seeking, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,
7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore I have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be disappointed.
30 "'Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, everyone according to his ways,' says the Lord God. 'Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make yourself a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, house of Israel?
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,' says the Lord God: 'therefore turn yourselves, and live.'"
33 The lot is cast into the lap,but its every decision is from the Lord.
35 Therefore do not throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
36 For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
37 "In a very little while,he who comes will come, and will not wait.
38 But my righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him."
39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
21 There are many plans in a man's heart, but the Lord's counsel will prevail.
51 "You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.
17 If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.
22 Joshua said to the people, "You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen you the Lord, to serve him."They said, "We are witnesses."
38 and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
39 and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good, and of their children after them:
38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
15 If it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
