12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." [6]
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" [7]
16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" [8]
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession —to the praise of his glory.
24 "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?
44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
45 It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' "Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.
46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.
47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' [1]
16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.
9 He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.'
10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. "Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."
28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen and understand.
3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.
23 If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear."
25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
