2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
24 "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." [8]
55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" [9]
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
