7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all "sin.
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
9 But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, 'Salvation comes from the LORD.'"
18 "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death
19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"
28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him,
29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said.
28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
36 , "Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all —how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, "so that we may serve the living God!
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." "When he had said this, he breathed his last.
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance ": that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
