4 "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.
5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.
2 When the wicked advance against me to devour "me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?
6 So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" [2]
6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise — in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
22 Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God himself will fight for you."
6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
