2 My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father."

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them.

51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, "was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

33 Jesus said, "I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.
