5 This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
1 "Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble.
1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers,
17 "What is mankind that you make so much of them, that you give them so much attention,
45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" "; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.
48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we "bear the image of the heavenly man.
6 But there is a place where someone has testified: "What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him?

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
17 'Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can even a strong man be more pure than his Maker?
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
