7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
12 Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear —not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple "Yes" or "No." Otherwise you will be condemned.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.
27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.

16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
21 For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
13 Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble.
