4 Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.

5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

6 From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.

3 But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

8 My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.

3 He shall say: "Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them.

4 In God, whose word I praise — in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

12 In a loud voice they were saying: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises. [2]
