4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not brag and is not arrogant proud.
5 Love does not act indecently. It is not selfish. It is not provoked and does not take into account a wrong suffered.
6 Love does not rejoice with evil, but rejoices with the truth.
7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
28 In this way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his own wife loves himself.
29 No man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also does the congregation.
15 »If you are not willing to serve him, decide today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are now living. As for my family and me, we will serve Jehovah.«
10 To the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord commands do not let the wife depart from her husband.
11 If she leaves, let her remain unmarried or become reconciled to her husband. A husband should not divorce his wife.
26 Be angry and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down upon your anger rage.
27 Do not give the devil an opportunity.
18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.
25 Put away falsehood. Speak truth each one of you with his neighbor: for we are members belonging totogether with of one another.
6 »So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What God has joined together, let no man pull apart separate!«
25 Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it.
33 Each one of you should love his own wife even as himself. The wife should respect her husband.
4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others more important than you.
4 Look out for the interest of others and not only for your own personal interest.
22 The man who finds a wife finds a good thing. He obtains favor from Jehovah.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and screaming, and abusive speech, be put away removedexpiated from you, along with all malice.
32 You should be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also forgave you through by means of Christ.
8 Above all things have intense love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.
15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone. But follow that which is good, both among you, and to all men.
3 Let the husband fulfill his marital duties to his wife and also the wife to her husband.
4 The wife has no authority over her own body, but her husband does. Likewise also the husband has no authority over his own body, but his wife does.
5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent for a time. That way you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer. Then come together again, that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
12 As Gods chosen, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness humility, meekness mildness, and long-suffering patience.
13 Tolerate enduresufferput up with one another, and forgive each other. If any man has a complaint against anyone, forgive them, even as God forgave you.
14 Above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection and unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. You were called in one body for this purpose. You be thankful.
29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth. Speak what is good for understanding as the need may be, that it may give grace divine favor to those who hear.
