5 How happy are those whose strength comes from you, who are eager to make the pilgrimage to Mount Zion.
7 They grow stronger as they go and they will see the God of gods on Zion.
8 »Jehovah is the one who goes ahead of you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be downhearted.«
47 »Everybody here will see that Jehovah does not need swords or spears to save his people. Jehovah always wins his battles. He will help us defeat you!«
7 Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened or terrified by the king of Assyria or the crowd with him. Someone greater is on our side.
8 Jehovah our God fights on our side. The Assyrians must rely on human power alone. These words encouraged the army of Judah.
9 »He guards the feet of his holy ones. The wicked are silenced in darkness. Man will not prevail by strength.
10 »One of you can make a thousand men run away, because Jehovah your God is fighting for you, as he promised.
8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to depend on people.
15 The Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, says: »Return to me and be saved. You can have rest. You can be strong by being quiet and by trusting me.« But you do not want that!
5 I will wait calmly for God alone, because my hope comes from him.
6 He answered: »This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel.« Then Jehovah of Hosts said: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.«
1 »When you go to war against your enemies, you may see horses, chariots, and armies larger than yours. Do not be afraid of them for Jehovah your God, who brought you out of Egypt, will be with you.
5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge recognize Him and He will make your paths straight.
5 My steps have remained firmly in your paths. My feet have not slipped.
8 Let me hear your loving kindness in the morning. For I trust in you! Teach me the way in which I should walk for to you I am lifted up.
1 Vindicate me, O Jehovah, because I have walked with a life-style of integrity and I have trusted you without wavering.
5 »I am the vine and you are the branches. He that remains with me, and I with him, the same bears much fruit. You can do nothing apart from me.
7 He is not afraid of bad news. His heart remains secure, full of confidence in Jehovah.
8 His heart is steady, and he is not afraid. In the end he will look triumphantly at his enemies.
6 Jonathan said to the young man: »Let us cross over to the camp of those heathen Philistines. Maybe Jehovah will help us. If he does, nothing can keep him from giving us the victory no matter how few of us there are.«
13 But Moses said to the people: »Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of Jehovah. He will accomplish this for you today. The Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.
14 »Jehovah will fight for you while you keep silent.«
11 Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
4 Everything born from God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world, even our faith.
