25 Not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and even more, as you see the day approaching.
12 He gave the right to become children of God to all who received him. Even to those who believe in his name.
13 They were born from God. It was not from blood, or the will of the flesh, or the will of man.
7 God deals with you like children. Endure discipline instructiontraining. Who is the child whom a father does not discipline?
8 If you are without discipline, you are illegitimate children, and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we have had fathers of our flesh that corrected us, and we gave them respect. Shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
10 They disciplined us for a few days for their own pleasure. He disciplines for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
33 He answered them: »Who is my mother and who is my brother?«
34 Looking at the people who sat around him he said: »Behold, my mother and my brother!
35 »For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.«
1 Do not rebuke censurecriticize an elder, but appeal to him as a father, the younger men as brothers.
2 Treat the elder women as mothers, the younger as sisters, with much honor.
15 For you have not received a spirit of bondage again causing fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Father, Father! Chaldee: Abba, meaning father.
16 The Spirit itself Greek:autos ho pneumaitself the Spirit bears witness with our spirit mind and heart, that we are children of God.
17 If children, then heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him.
4 When the full time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 Because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 So you are no longer slaves but a son. And as a son God has made you an heir.
26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you who were baptized into Christ put on clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one united in Christ Jesus. (John 17:21) (Ephesians 4:4-6)
35 »The slave does not abide in the house forever. The son abides forever.
5 These many members are one body in Christ, and every one, individually, is a member one of the other.
1 Observe the love the Father gave to us that we should be called the children of God. That is what we are! For this reason the world does not know us. This is because it did not know him.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that when he is revealed we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
26 When one member suffers all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
14 For this cause I bow my knees to the Father.
15 Every family in heaven and on earth obtains its name from him.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens. You are fellow citizens with the holy ones and of the household of God.
20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Christ Jesus is the chief corner stone.
21 In him each building fits together and grows into a »holy Temple for Jehovah.« (Zechariah 6:12)
22 In Christ you are assembled together as a place for Gods Spirit to dwell.
5 He predetermined ordained us to adoption, as sons to himself through Jesus Christ, according to the kind intention of his will.
6 This is to the praise of the glory of his kindness, with which he freely honored us, the loved ones.
42 Jesus said: »If God were your Father you would love me. I came from God! I have not come from myself. He sent me!
