17 »It will come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh. Greek: apo, from Your sons and your daughters will prophesy proclaim Gods Word. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
18 »And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out a portion fromsome of my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy: (Joel 2:28)
19 »I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.
20 »The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable awesome Day of Jehovah arrives. (Joel 2:31)
21 »It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. (Joel 2:32)
51 Behold, I show you a secret. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last reverberation of the trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
32 »No one knows the day or hour. The angels in heaven do not know. The Son of God does not know. Only the Father knows!
29 »Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give light. The stars will fall from heaven. The powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 »The sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of earth will mourn. They will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 »He will send his angels with a great trumpet sound. They will gather together the anointed from the four winds, from one end of the sky horizon to the other.
1 Jehovah of Hosts proclaims: »The day is coming when all arrogant and evil people will burn like stubble. On that day they will burn up and there will be nothing left of them, either root or bough.
2 »The sun of righteousness with its healing will shine on you who respect my name and obey me. You will be free and paw the ground like fat calves.«
34 »Be awake so your hearts are not weighed down. Do not allow the weight of worldly involvement, drunkenness, and cares of this life be a snare when that day suddenly comes.
35 »It will come as a surprise to all who dwell on the face of the earth.
36 »Be on the watch all the time. Pray for the strength to escape all these things in order to stand before the Son of man.«
1 »At that time Michael will stand up. He is the great prince who stands for the children of your people. There will be a time of trouble that has not happened since the beginning of nations. Then your people will be delivered, every one whos name is found written in the book.
2 »Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 »Those who have wisdom insight will shine like the brightness of the firmament. They turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
1 Know this also that in the last days perilous dangerous times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous lovers of money, arrogant, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, despisers of those who are good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Stay away from people like this!
8 Do not forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (Psalm 90:1, 4)
9 Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness. He is longsuffering patient toward you. He does not wish that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 The day of Jehovah will come as a thief. The heavens will pass away with a great noise. The elements shall be dissolved with intense heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up destroyed. (Joel 2:31) (Zephaniah 1:14)
11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved destroyed, what manner of persons should you be in all holy living and godliness?
12 Look for and earnestly desire the coming presence of the »Day of Jehovah.« (Zephaniah 1:14) The heavens being on fire will be dissolved destroyed, and the elements will melt with intense heat!
13 We look for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. This is according to his promise.
14 »The good news of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
20 »Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.«
42 »Be alert, for you do not know what day the Lord will come.
43 »Know this, if the master of the house had known what time the thief was coming, he would have watched and his house would not have been vandalized.
44 »Be prepared! The Son of man will come at a time when you do not expect it.
1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. There was no more sea.
2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 Then I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying: "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. He will dwell with them and they will be his people! God will be with them, and be their God.
4 "God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death. There will be no more sorrow nor crying. There will be no more pain! The former things have passed away."
15 We tell you this by Gods Word, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep.
16 For the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 We that are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so will we ever be with the Lord.
18 Comfort one another with these words.
17 »Behold! I WILL CREATE A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
18 »Be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
19 »I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people. The sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.«
