24 »Before they call I will answer! While they are still speaking I will hear.
1 As the deer desires the water brooks, so I desire you, O God.
2 I thirst for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
8 Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded uncertaindoubterskeptic.
1 Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the water. You, who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.
3 Give ear and come to me; listen to me, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
4 Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander of the nations.
5 You will summon nations you do not know. Nations that do not know you will run to you, because of Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.
6 Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.
22 »I have given them the glory that you gave me in order that they may be one even as we are one.
23 »I with them, and you with me, that they may accomplish complete unity. That way the world may know that you sent me and that you love them just as you love me.
11 I know the plans that I have for you, says Jehovah. They are plans for peace and not disaster. They are plans to give you a future filled with hope.
3 Call to me and I will answer you. I will tell you grand and impressive things, things you do not know.«
1 O God, you are my God. At dawn I search for you. I thirst for you. My body longs for you in a dry, parched land where there is no water.
2 I look for you in the holy place to see your power and your glory.
3 My lips will praise you because your love mercyloving kindnesssteadfast love is better than life.
4 So I will bless thank you as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in prayer in your name.
5 You satisfy me with the richest foods. My mouth will sing your praise with joyful lips.
6 As I lie on my bed, I remember you. Through the long hours of the night, I think about you.
7 You have been my help. In the shadow defense of your wings, I sing joyfully.
8 I cling to you. Your right hand supports holds me.
9 But those who try to destroy my life will go into the depths of the earth.
10 Swords will cut them down. Their dead bodies will be left as food for jackals.
11 But the king will find joy in God. Everyone who takes an oath by God will speak praise, but the mouths of liars will be shut.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
