6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
13 »Whatever you ask in my name, I will do. That way the Father may be glorified because of the Son.
14 »If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
28 In their distress they cried out to Jehovah. He led them from their troubles.
29 He made the storm calm down, and the waves became still.
30 The sailors were glad that the storm was quiet. He guided them to the harbor they had longed for.
40 Peter put them all outside, kneeled down, and prayed. He turned to the body and said: »Tabitha, rise!« She opened her eyes. When she saw Peter, she sat up.
7 »Ask and it will be given you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you.
29 He replied: Only prayer will make this sort come out.
14 Is any among you sick? Let him call the elders of the congregation. Let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of God.
15 The prayer of faith will save the sick person. God will raise him up; and if he committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
16 Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man helps much.
18 With prayer and supplication pray at all times in the Spirit. Watch with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones.
24 »I tell you, believe that you receive what you pray for and you shall have it.
22 »You will receive the things you ask for in prayer when you have faith.«
