20 Joseph had this in mind when Gods angel appeared to him in a dream. The angel said to him: »Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. She is pregnant by Holy Spirit.
21 »She will give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus »Jehovah is salvation« , because he will save his people from their sins.«
1 When Jehovah brought back the captive ones of Zion, it was like a dream.
26 The king said to Daniel, who was also called Belteshazzar: »Are you able to tell me about my dream and interpret it?«
27 Daniel answered: »Wise men, enchanters, magicians, and soothsayers cannot show the secret the king demanded.
28 »There is a God in heaven that reveals secrets. He made known to king Nebuchadnezzar what will be in days to come. Your dream and visions are these:
1 »If a prophet or an interpreter of dreams appears among you and gives you a sign or a wonder portentomenforecast of the future,
2 in order to lead you to worship and serve gods that you have not worshiped before, and even if what they promise comes true,
3 do not listen to them. Jehovah your God is allowing them to test you. He will then know that you love Jehovah with all your heart.
4 »Follow Jehovah and respect him. Obey him and keep his commandments. Worship him and be faithful to him stick to himstay close to himcleave, cling to him.
32 »Listen to what I, Jehovah, say! I am against the prophets who tell their dreams that are full of lies. They tell these dreams and lead my people astray with their lies and their boasting. I did not send them or order them to go. They are of no help at all to the people. I Jehovah have spoken!«
8 »We both had dreams,« they answered him, »but there is no one to tell us what they mean.« »Is it not God who can tell what dreams mean?« Joseph asked them. »Tell me all about them.«
3 Dreams come with many efforts, trials and concerns. Fools speak with too many words.
3 Commit your works to Jehovah and your thoughts will be firmly established.
28 »In the last days I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions! (Ac 2:17; Isa 44:3)
25 »I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in my name. They say: I had a dream! I had a dream!«
26 »How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets, who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart?
6 He said: »Listen to my words: When there are prophets of Jehovah among you, I make myself known to them in visions or speak to them in dreams.
19 While he was seated in judgment his wife sent a message to him. She said, »Do not judge that righteous man. I have had much trouble this day in a dream because of him.«
14 But Peter, stood up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said to them: »You men of Judea, and all you who dwell at Jerusalem let me explain this to you. Listen to my words.
15 »These men are not drunk as you suppose for it is only nine oclock in the morning.
16 »This is what the prophet Joel spoke about:
17 »It will come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh. Greek: apo, from Your sons and your daughters will prophesy proclaim Gods Word. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
17 God gave these young people knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of all types of literature and learning. Daniel had understanding and wisdom in all visions and dreams.
15 The king said: »I had a dream. No one can explain what it means. I am told that you can interpret dreams.«
16 Joseph then answered Pharaoh: »I cannot do it myself, but God can give the meaning of your dreams.«
7 There is futility and emptiness in many dreams and in many words. Reverence God.
21 Many intentions are in mens hearts. Only counsel from Jehovah will stand.
