Temor de Deus
28 Let us be thankful, because we will receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship serveintensely adore God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe.
29 Our God is a destroying consuming fire.
4 "Who will not reverence you, Jehovah, and glorify your name, for only you are holy. All nations will come and worship you. Your righteous judgments are clearly apparent."
28 »Do not fear those who kill the body. They are not able to take away your everlasting life. Instead, fear him who is able to destroy both life and body in the ever-burning fires. Greek: Gehenna: continuously burning trash fires in the valley of Hinnom.
6 »Obey the commandments of Jehovah your God. Walk in his ways and respect him.
6 He told the judges: »Be careful when you make your decisions in court. Remember these are Jehovahs people. He will know the judgements you decide.
7 »Do your work in honor of him and know that he will not allow you to be unfair to anyone or to take bribes.«
1 Having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness with deep reverence for God.
16 It is better to have a little with respect for Jehovah than great treasure and trouble.
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Respect God, and obey his commandments for this is the whole duty of man.
10 The respect and reverence for Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. All who obey his commandments show good sense insight and understanding. His praise endures continues forever.
8 »Did you notice my servant Job?« Jehovah asked. »There is no one on earth as faithful and good as he is. He respects me and is careful not to do anything evil.«
7 Who would not respect you, O King of the nations? It is your right! There is none like you among all the wise men of the nations.
7 There is futility and emptiness in many dreams and in many words. Reverence God.
29 If only they had such a heart in them that they would respect reverence me and obey all my commandments for as long as they live! Then things would go well for them and their children from generation to generation.
