10 Also as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
12 »Even now,« said Jehovah, »turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning!
20 Then Job got up and tore his clothes in grief. He shaved his head and threw himself face down on the ground.
21 He said: »I was born with nothing naked, and I will die with nothing. Jehovah gave, and now he has taken away. Blessed be the name of Jehovah!«
12 »The vine and the fig tree fails. The pomegranate-tree, the palm-tree also, and the apple-tree, even all the trees of the field have dried up. Joy has withered away from the sons of men.
3 Then I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying: "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. He will dwell with them and they will be his people! God will be with them, and be their God.
4 "God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death. There will be no more sorrow nor crying. There will be no more pain! The former things have passed away."
18 In much wisdom there is much grief for he who increases knowledge increases pain.
5 »Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: This is what Jehovah God of your ancestor David says: »I heard your prayer. I saw your tears. Now I will heal you. The day after tomorrow you will go to Jehovahs Temple.
1 A wise son makes a father glad: but a foolish son is sorrow depressiongrief for his mother.
8 Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind. Jehovah raises up those who are bowed down. Jehovah loves the righteous.
17 Righteous people cry out. Jehovah hears and rescues them from all their troubles.
18 Jehovah is near to those whose hearts and minds are humble and contrite. He saves the broken hearted and crushed in spirit.
30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in which Greek: en hosin whichGreek: hos, he howherebywhich you were sealed to the day of release by ransom.
10 Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity.
4 »Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
16 "They will hunger no more, nor thirst any more; neither shall the sunlight beat down on them, nor any heat.
17 "The Lamb who is in the middle of the throne will feed them and lead them to living fountains of water. God will wipe away all tears from their eyes."
8 »Jehovah is the one who goes ahead of you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be downhearted.«
9 You know all my desires, O Jehovah. My groaning has not been hidden from you.
5 For His anger is only for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime! Weeping may last for the night but a shout of joy comes in the morning.
7 Throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.
