1 Inclina-te, Senhor, e ouve minha oração;

responde-me, pois estou aflito e necessitado.

2 Protege-me, pois sou fiel a ti;

salva-me, pois sou teu servo e em ti confio.

Tu és meu Deus!

3 Tem misericórdia de mim, ó Senhor,

pois clamo a ti sem parar.

4 Alegra-me, Senhor,

pois a ti me entrego.

5 Ó Senhor, tu és tão bom, tão pronto a perdoar,

tão cheio de amor por todos que te buscam.

6 Ouve minha oração, Senhor,

e atende a meu clamor.

7 Em tempos de aflição, clamarei a ti,

e tu me responderás.

8 Nenhum dos deuses é semelhante a ti, Senhor,

nenhum deles pode fazer o que tu fazes.

9 Todas as nações que criaste virão e se prostrarão diante de ti, Senhor,

e glorificarão o teu nome.

10 Pois tu és grande e realizas maravilhas;

só tu és Deus.

11 Ensina-me os teus caminhos, Senhor,

para que eu viva segundo a tua verdade.

Concede-me pureza de coração,

para que eu honre o teu nome.

12 Ó Senhor, meu Deus, de todo o meu coração te louvarei;

glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.

13 Pois grande é o teu amor por mim;

tu me livraste das profundezas da morte.

14 Ó Deus, os arrogantes se levantam contra mim,

pessoas violentas tentam me matar;

não se importam contigo.

15 Mas tu, Senhor,

és Deus de compaixão e misericórdia,

lento para se irar

e cheio de amor e fidelidade.

16 Olha para cá e tem compaixão de mim!

Dá tua força a teu servo;

sim, salva teu humilde servo.

17 Mostra-me um sinal do teu favor;

então serão envergonhados os que me odeiam,

pois tu, Senhor, me ajudas e me consolas.

1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.2 Preserve my soul, for I am devout. O thou my God, save thy servant who trusts in thee.3 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for to thee do I cry all the day long.4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant, for to thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.5 For thou, LORD, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon thee.6 Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer, and hearken to the voice of my supplications.7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee, for thou will answer me.8 There is none like thee among the gods, O LORD, nor like thy works.9 All nations whom thou have made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD, and they shall glorify thy name.10 For thou are great, and do wondrous things. Thou alone are God.11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, I will walk in thy truth. Unite my heart to fear thy name.12 I will praise thee, O LORD my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for evermore.13 For great is thy loving kindness toward me, and thou have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.14 O God, the proud have risen up against me, and a company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set thee before them.15 But thou, O LORD, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.16 O turn to me, and have mercy upon me. Give thy strength to thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.17 Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because thou, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.
