3 Então Satanás entrou em Judas Iscariotes, um dos doze discípulos, o qual foi ter com os principais dos sacerdotes e com os capitães da guarda do templo a fim de combinar a melhor maneira de entregar Jesus nas suas mãos. Eles ficaram muito satisfeitos ao saberem que Judas estava pronto a auxiliá-los e prometeram-lhe uma recompensa. Assim, começou a aguardar qualquer oportunidade de lhes entregar Jesus sem dar nas vistas.

3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.4 And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him to them.5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.6 And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.
