8 Armosta Jumala on teidät pelastanut antamalla teille uskon. Pelastus ei ole lähtöisin teistä, vaan se on Jumalan lahja.

9 Se ei perustu ihmisen tekoihin, jottei kukaan voisi ylpeillä.
